The predecessor was created in the Japanese-era barn, located in Yuejin Port in Tainan Salt Water. Later, after the destruction of the war, it was converted into a cinema. The overall style still maintains the style of Japanese-style architecture. Because of the vast area and novel equipment, in addition to playing movies at that time, As the most important local hall, the cinema has been continuously operated until 2000, and has been closed. After conservation restoration, it has been transformed into a museum of film-themed cultural relics to promote film culture.
