5 Trips to Shenzhen, Here's My Guide! A Song Brought Me to a City
Hey guys 👋, is there a song that shines like a bright light, illuminating your longing for this vibrant city? For me, it was the song "The Story of Spring": "In 1979, in the spring, an old man drew a circle on the southern coast of China, and cities rose like myths, and mountains of gold rose like miracles." These epoch-making, hopeful lyrics made me curious about Shenzhen, a city that has taken off because of reform and opening up, and I longed to explore its infinite vitality and charm. In February, with anticipation, I embarked on a trip to Shenzhen. Check out my guide!

🍜Local Food Recommendations
🥘Chaozhou Beef Hot Pot: There are many Chaozhou people living in Shenzhen, and beef hot pot is very popular. Fresh and tender beef slices, hand-beaten beef tendon balls, and other ingredients are quickly cooked in beef bone broth and dipped in satay sauce, which melts in your mouth and is full of flavor. A pot of beef hot pot in the winter is warm and satisfying👍
🥢Steamed Vermicelli Roll: Although it originated in Guangzhou, the steamed vermicelli roll in Shenzhen has its own flavor. The rice milk is made into a thin and tender steamed vermicelli roll skin, wrapped with shrimp, char siu, vegetables, and other fillings, and drizzled with a special sauce, which is rich in taste and is the best choice for breakfast.

💖Travel Experience
In these three days in February in Shenzhen, I felt like I was immersed in a world full of vitality and opportunities. The grandeur of Lianhuashan Park, the beauty of Shenzhen Bay Park, and the delicious food all intoxicated me. Humming "The Story of Spring" as I strolled through the streets of Shenzhen, I truly felt the charm of this city. Everything here is like a legend of dreams, and I look forward to coming back next time to continue exploring this land of Pengcheng💕
Shenzhen has a subtropical marine climate, the blue sea and white beach of Dapeng Peninsula, Shekou Sea World, the music fountain on the Minghua Ferry, and the Ferris wheel at sea. It is an ideal tourist destination.
This place is just stunning at night. Extremely foreigner friendly. They have lots of different eating and drinking places. There is also a water show every night. We went to the Mexican restaurant, it had luve music and the food was very good!
The scenery is good, the environment is better, and the interesting animation gives people different ages. Although I have passed through childhood and middle age, I still want to experience children without feeling happy.
Shenzhen Shekou Sea World was originally a cruise ship made in France. China bought it and moored it in Shekou. Later, it was renamed Minghua. Deng Xiaoping stayed here during his southern tour and named it Sea World. It is a comprehensive tourist attraction integrating business, catering, sightseeing and shopping. There are fountain performances at night, and the scenery is very beautiful. Many world-famous restaurants have also opened stores here, and it is worth seeing for eating, drinking and having fun.
In the maritime world 20 years ago, do you still remember the magic mirror on the ship? 🤣Making people tall, short, fat or thin is extremely ugly, but it’s fun! Nowadays, high-end residences have been built around the sea world, with complete facilities, plenty of food, and a good environment. No wonder today, 20 years later, the property prices are the highest in Shenzhen, right! 🤣👍 【view】
Is this the home of the mermaid princess? "🐚 As soon as the baby entered the door, he screamed and rushed to the rainbow bubble pool! 🌈 The giant whale slide is as bouncy as jelly, and the little feet giggled on the singing beach~🧜♀️ Even the dolphin fountain is wearing a cute bow! The most surprising thing is the "Crystal Palace Tunnel", where glowing transparent jellyfish float, and the baby's tiptoeing to catch the light and shadow is frozen into a fairy tale by the camera~📸 All the staff wore shell hairpins to help wipe the sweat, and received a little mermaid sticker gift when leaving!
In the sea world, there is a station on the subway. It's better to come here at night. There are many places to eat and bars. It's very busy. And the night scene lighting is also good, mainly the Minghua cruise ship, has been transformed into a deck restaurant and cabin accommodation. There is a music fountain performance at every hour, which is worth seeing. The only shortcoming is that the performance time is relatively short.
The sea world is a first-class night scene in Shenzhen. It doesn't feel very good during the day, but the night scenery is excellent. Four of us came together at that time. We arrived here in the afternoon and went to Nuwa to see the sea on the day when it was very hot. Towards evening, when a restaurant was ordered for dinner, the scenery was gradually reflected. The restaurant on Minghua Line has a minimum consumption of 100, which is a bit flashy. But many restaurants in Area B and C give me a good feeling of cost-effectiveness and environment. [Transportation] When the subway takes the Shekou Line to Export A of the Maritime World, it will see the Minghua Ship of the Marine World. [Food] Recommended walnut restaurant here, per capita consumption of about 90, but the environment is really good, there is a music restaurant, compared with the Minghua Boat Restaurant cost-effective much better. In addition, the old house restaurant here is also recommended Sichuan cuisine. It's worth going.
