It is one of the top Ski resorts in the country, and caters for noobs (like us) and pro's. If you are an amateur, fair warning: The ice is harder than it looks. I learned the hard way. Yabuli is located about 250km from Harbin city, and the best way to get there is to take a high speed train to Yabulixi station, and then take a bus to the Ski Resort. Tickets can be purchased at the resort, or online. It is cheaper to buy online. Yabuli ski resort is one of the closest ski resort near Harbin. You can go here either by car, bus, or train. We took train which was for about 2-3 hours. It was very nice to enjoy some of the outdoor activities in the snow. I tried skiing, but hell it was so scary and I took some falls as well.
