Kobe Guandi Temple, commonly known as Nanjing Temple, was built in the 25th year of Meiji (1892) and is located in the central district of Kobe City. It was destroyed by war in 1945 and rebuilt two years later. It was damaged to varying degrees by the fire in 1977 and the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995, but it was quickly repaired. Kobe Guandi Temple is resplendent, solemn and solemn. The three characters "Guandi Temple" on the plaque of the mountain gate were inscribed by the famous calligrapher Yu Youren; the shrine in the main hall is in the middle, and the shrines in the main hall are enshrined with Guan Gong, Zhou Cang and Guan Ping; In addition to offering incense offerings to worshippers at the Kobe Guandi Temple, the middle of the year is based on the Chinese lunar calendar. Today it has become a tourist attraction in Kobe, welcoming tourists from all over the world every day.
