The zoo was invested and built by Dongguan Yuye World Industrial Investment Co., Ltd., and the total investment of the project is expected to be 3.5 billion yuan. The whole project was carried out in phase two, and the first phase of the project invested nearly 200 million yuan. The preparation began in March 2009. The first phase of the project mainly included animal introduction, animal cages, large-scale performance venues and service supporting projects, management areas and other projects, which were completed in June 2010. It was opened for trial in early July 2010; the second phase of the project mainly includes large amusement facilities and other entertainment projects.
