This place is not Shenzhen but Dongguan, which has finally welcomed the season for flower viewing and scenery appreciation. However, the weather in many southern cities has not been ideal recently. I, who have been lingering in Shenzhen, finally made it to the border of Dongguan and Shenzhen during the remaining days of my holiday and stumbled upon this park by chance. Dapingzhang Forest Park is different from other parks; it not only has mountains and water but also offers great hiking and camping experiences. Climbing to the top of the park, you can see the largest Guanlan Lake Golf Club in Asia, which includes five golf courses. The green environment here is very healing. When the weather is clear, I recommend everyone to come here and enjoy the blooming yellow bellflowers, bougainvillea, and many other flowers that are in full bloom during spring. It starts from Tangxia in Dongguan to the east and borders Gongming in Shenzhen to the west, with Guanlan in Shenzhen to the south and Huangjiang in Dongguan to the north. Covering an area of 26.3 square kilometers, it is less than an hour's drive from Shenzhen. The park is surrounded by mountains and water, with fresh air, bamboo groves, and an altitude of just over 500 meters, featuring mostly gentle uphill paths suitable for both adults and children, making it perfect for weekend and holiday relaxation and oxygen intake.
