Dongguan Nanshe Ancient Village | An ancient and quaint small town
Nanshe Ancient Village is a village with Xie as the major surname. The ancient village is not large, but its overall layout is unique.
As you enter the ancient village, the first thing that comes into view is a large pond, with sparkling waves and koi playing in the ripples.
On both sides are rows of houses and ancestral halls, with flying eaves and corners, carved beams and painted buildings, exquisite and simple, similar to the Foshan Ancestral Temple.
The first feeling of the ancient village is a strong Lingnan culture, a stream separates the two banks, several old arch bridges span the stream, the willow trees, banyan trees, and flowers on both sides are particularly beautiful when photographed! The ancient village is not large, you can walk around quickly, there are also many ancestral halls inside, there are 22 ancestral halls in the village, large and small clans are arranged in order, Xie's clan ancestral hall, Bai Sui Weng ancestral hall, Bai Sui Fang, Xie Yuqi's family temple, Zizheng's residence, etc. are the fine works in the Nanshe ancient architectural group.

The ancient village of Nanshe Ming and Qing Dynasty is located in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. I also found it by accident, and immediately took a taxi to there. The ancient village of Nanshe Ming and Qing Dynasty retains the traditional local cultural characteristics.
The Spring Festival is very lively, the stage has performances, singing Cantonese songs, very festive, there is a river at the entrance of the village, there are fish and turtles in the river, there are two big banyan trees in the village, the umbrella is very large, you can cool down, there are also homestays in the alleys.
During the Spring Festival, take my parents to the park, full of flavor, and lion dance. The garden is not big, it takes about30-40 minutes to turn around, you can sit down and have a cup of coffee ☕️, and there are special local cuisine.
Advantages: ① The night view is also beautiful, the lighting is beautiful, suitable for taking pictures and punching in ② The fare is not expensive.
