Beiwei Exhibition Hall

Datong Yungang Grottoes Exhibition Hall is located on the west side of the Yungang Grottoes Scenic Area in Datong City. The northeast side of the construction land is the Beiwei Grottoes, the east side is the green belt, and the south side is the total construction area of 9939.46 square meters, including a showroom and a multi-functional performing arts center. The north exhibition hall is arranged in a single-story arch with a width of 4 meters and a span of 40 meters. The exhibition hall is a single-story large-span space, 6 meters underground, and the highest point above the ground is high. The exhibition center is a square ancient castle-style building. The basement level, the height of the floor is 3.6 meters, and the upper floor level is 7.0 meters high.

The Northern Wei Museum is located in the west of Yungang Grottoes Scenic Area, with the statues of the Grottoes on the north side and the performing arts center on the south side. The museum focuses on the culture of the Northern Wei Dynasty and uses scientific and technological means to show the glorious history of the Northern Wei Dynasty and the process of the opening of Yungang Grottoes.
