The Jingle Palace, the head of Wudang Jiugong, is not on Wudang Mountain. We found it when we visited Danjiangkou reservoir area. It is quiet on the noisy roadside and is isolated from the palace and the road by a large square.
Historically, it was the first palace of Wudang, the original site has been submerged under the Danjiangkou Reservoir, it is a pity that it is now relocated in recent years, with a history of more than 600 years of tall stone archway and huge holy monuments in the story of its vicissitudes.
Jingle Palace is the first of Wudang Mountain Jiugong in the eastern suburbs of Danjiangkou City. Jingle Palace complex is a typical royal palace building. It enters the mountain gate from Dashi archway. The central axis is the triple temple, namely the Dragon and Tiger Temple, the Xuandi Temple, the Holy Parents Temple. There are east and west rooms and halls on both sides of the temple. There are two turtle stele pavilions on both sides of the east and west. The Hanjiang fish in the nearby Hanjiang River restaurant is delicious! Tourists who come to Danjiangkou are worth a visit!
Jingle Palace tickets are 20 yuan, free for over 65 years old. Jingle Palace was built in Mingyongle 11 years, the first of Wudang Mountain Jiugong. In 1958, due to the construction of Danjiangkou Water Conservancy Hub Project, Jingle Palace and Junzhou Ancient City were submerged under the water of Danjiangkou Reservoir. The current Jingle Palace was rebuilt after 2003. The address selection is similar to the landform of Jingle Palace in Junzhou, which is in line with the feng shui theory of the ancients "left Qinglong, right white tiger, south Zhuque, north Xuanwu", and the Jingang Reservoir in front of the door is renamed Jingle Lake. The buildings in Jingle Palace are basically newly built, but some cultural relics have been migrated from the original Jingle Palace. The two imperial monuments weighing 102 tons by camels and the stone archway in front of the door are original objects, and they are also the largest imperial monuments and stone archways in Wudang Mountain. It's not easy to move such heavy objects. The main hall of the Jingle Palace is very similar to the main hall of the Zixiao Palace in Wudang Mountain.
Fengshui treasure, the wind is pure, the holy land on earth!
