There is a monument of Basho Matsuo in the precincts. It is located more than an hour walk from Chichibu Fudasho No. 32 １. On the way, you can enjoy the idyllic scenery of Chichibu. It took more than 30 minutes on foot from the bus stop. I definitely recommend going by car.
