It was in Fort Macon state park. There was a battery in the brick fort, and you could enter the fort for free, and there were materials and equipment that showed that it was a fort for lifestyles at that time, attacks from overseas and civil wars. There was also a gift shop and toilet. The sea seen from the battery was beautiful and I was able to spend a relaxing time.
