The whole Wangfu, sitting north to south, the middle road hall is high, five halls, divided into three courtyards. Two side roads, equipped with houses and courtyard alleys, scattered. Close to the West Road, there is a natural scenery garden, pavilions and water rafts, fun and leisurely. There is a lake outside the garden wall, and at the end of the lake, it is at the root of the Western City Wall. Connected to the lake, a stream passed by the Wangfu Gate, and a small bridge with a Han white jade guardrail is located on the water. The whole picture is clear and unsparing, with the style of Wangfu and the scene of people's livelihood. Today, this courtyard, the middle road basically maintains the previous buildings, a two-way hall, forming the east gate front courtyard of the Conservatory of Music, several repairs, new appearance. The two stone lions sitting outside the door in the old days moved to the front of the second hall. They were round and magnificent in shape. They were rare stone lions in the Beijing house. The third hall should have been the core building. The image should have been seven rooms wide and two rooms deep. However, when the auditorium was built, it was demolished due to the cramped land. Behind the auditorium, there are one or three wide gates, and the fourth hall is surrounded by a courtyard. This is what we, and the nearby people, call the Wangfu Courtyard, which is also where I lived when I was a child. There are several old elm trees in the yard, and under the shade is where we play as a child. The flowers are blooming, just like the summer scene of childhood, and the ground is fragrant.
