Ayabe Onsen Niokan hot spring facility. Business hours are 10 ~ 21:00. The view from the open-air bath is wonderful, and the hot spring fee is very cheap at 500 yen.
This is the hot spring I found when I was checking if there was a hot spring nearby on the way back from Miyazu. It is possible to take a day trip bath for 500 yen, so when I went around 10:30 in the morning, there were already many groups of customers. It was a natural hot spring, and there was an open-air bath and a medicinal bath, and it was very clean and nice.
Although it is in Ayabe City, it is located in the Kamibayashi district, and from the city, you can enter the prefectural road 1 quite far. The prefectural road was very close to Fukui Prefecture when crossing the prefectural border. It can be accessed from Takahama, so it is best to travel with Fukui Prefecture without returning. It was on a hill and overlooked the surrounding scenery. It was convenient on the way back from the Niomon walk.
It takes about 30 minutes by car from the center of Ayabe city. Located in the Kamibayashi district where the idyllic mountain village spreads out, adjacent to the accommodation. It's not a very large hot spring, but the view while taking a bathtub is good because the facilities are on a hill. It's not very crowded, and there are saunas and rest rooms, so you can spend a relaxing time. The price is reasonable with 500 yen.

Very good value!
It is very beautiful and has accommodation and restaurants. It is a good price of 500 yen, but the facilities are also substantial and you can relax.

You can also access Takahama.
