    Kunshan.In Zhouzhuang Ancient Town
    31.4km from downtown
Highlights: This ancient town has a history of more than 900 years old with many houses built in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Known as Yao City or Zhenfang lane in ancient times, the town was once a part of the Kingdom of Wu, playing an important role in the distribution of silk, ceramics, art pieces, and food. With lakes on the four sides, the beauty of Zhouzhuang has to be discovered through its water lanes and stone bridges. Taking a boat ride would be an interesting option to tour around the town. Famous sites include Zhang Hall, Shen Hall, and the underwater tomb of Shen Wansan, a famous Yuan Dynasty Businessman. If you stay around till the lights light up at night, you can enjoy a view that is seemingly made up from a fairytale.

"In Suzhou, Suzhou Ancient Town is a small ancient town. The area is not large. It is free to enter the ancient town. However, there are some small attractions that need tickets. I bought a package ticket on Trip.com in advance and strolled for two hours. The advantage is that there are fewer people than other popular ancient towns. It will not appear crowded, and the ancient lotus bridge is more distinctive."
    Kunshan.Jinxi Ancient Town area
    23.8km from downtown
Highlights: Jinxi Ancient Town is located on the shores of the Dianshan Lake in the southern suburbs of Kunshan, and is a riverside town in Southern China with thousands of years. The ancient town is not very large. The ancient lotus bridge that resembles a Chinese landscape painting and the mysterious tomb of Princess Chen have attracted many tourists here to explore. The various folk museums are also worth visiting. There are also plenty of snack bars on the old street. In addition, the town's civic collection museums include the old bricks museum, the purple sand pottery museum and the pottery museums that are full of antiques, and a cultural revolution collection museum that allows visitors to revisit history. The snacks on the old street include Jinxi specialties such as Wadisu, Changlong mooncakes, crabapple cake, tied pork and other Jiangnan specialty foods.

"The overall tour of Qiandeng feels that there are not many people, suitable for hanging out on weekends. Because the attractions need tickets, there are fewer people entering the small attractions. You can buy a joint ticket. One small attraction is slowly strolling. Watch the performance time of the ancient stage. It is also quite good to go there to listen to the scene. Break your feet and let yourself go. It is very pleasant."
