I had an amazing experience from pick-up to drop-off on this hike. The day included a beautiful lunch in Abaca Village where we enjoyed delicious local food, followed by a stunning trek to a waterfall. My guide Peni and his son were so welcoming and knowledgeable, sharing stories and teaching us about the land. I loved the way he spoke so warmly about his wife, which added such a personal and genuine touch. I also learned about plants used in traditional ways, like one with seeds kids once played with as marbles, “mile a minute” which is used to disinfect wounds, and even heard a barking pigeon!
This is such a great way to see a more authentic, mountainous side of Fiji while supporting a small local family business. It also felt very safe and comfortable — perfect for solo female travellers. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a genuine cultural and nature experience.

Amazing! The trip out was great and the bar was good too! We had the midday trip which was excellent. Great opportunity to drink away, jump from the top into the sea and go swimming as the water is calm and clear. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend★

Absolutely fantastic. All the guides including our driver , the lovely ladies who cooked our meal were outstanding. Guides very funny and welcoming. Take some cash with you for souvenirs. Well worth the money.AAA+.★

We booked the package very last minute—late in the evening for a tour starting the next morning—and they still managed to fit us in, which we really appreciated.
However, we didn’t receive any information about the pickup time, so we waited in the hotel lobby. When the driver arrived, he seemed a little frustrated as the bus had been waiting at the bus stop in front of the hotel. This made the journey to Port Denarau slightly awkward, but it was still fine overall.
Once we got on the cruise, the experience was great! The cruise staff were friendly, energetic, and welcoming. There was also no hard selling, which we appreciated. Instead of snorkelling, I decided to purchase the introductory scuba diving experience to try scuba diving for the first time.
Overall, the experience was amazing and actually exceeded my expectations!
