Reviews: Vatnajökull glacier hiking and ice climbing in Iceland (depart from Skaftafell + professional guide + equipment provided)

Lowlow, the coach, was excellent. Having him around made me feel very safe, even as a beginner. We could discuss whether you wanted to take it slow or have a more challenging experience.

Reviews: Iceland Vatnajökull Skaftafell Falljökull glacier hike or climbing or Blue Ice Cave jeep experience

I had many booking channels, but ultimately chose Ctrip because their Black Diamond membership makes communication easier with any issues. The visit itself was fine; three hours was about right—just enough time to experience and see what the glacier was like. It was pretty good, and the photos turned out quite well.

Reviews: Iceland Crystal Blue Ice Cave Half-day Tour|Vatnajokull Glacier super jeep experience|Professional glacier guide

The blue ice caves were still quite frozen solid at the end of March. Our guide led us through several ice caves and helped us take photos. Although it was a small group of about a dozen people, everyone was busy taking pictures, making it seem a bit chaotic. I wonder if it was because it was the first bus of the morning.

Fantastic! I booked a bustravel tour through Ctrip, and the price was the same as the discount code I got on their official website using Xiaohongshu. There was no information gap with them. Our guide, Halli, was great, providing commentary and telling jokes throughout the trip. The 16-hour South Shore Glacier Lagoon tour was tiring but totally worth it! It truly lives up to its reputation as the best tour; cheaper than self-driving and still offering stunning scenery. I brought a ton of food, and I highly recommend bringing snacks and bread.
