Although the chances of seeing the aurora were extremely low, we managed to see it twice in different locations. Although we don't speak much English, our guide told us anecdotes about how the aurora dances and how whistling can bring it to you, which was really fun! The hot drinks and cookies were heavenly in the freezing cold of -30°C. Even with outerwear like Canada Goose, it's still really cold, so it's a good idea to rent overalls.Trip.com picks
