This eSIM was very easy to install and worked immediately upon arrival. With 2 GB per day, I was able to navigate and upload photos just fine; I used less than 1 GB on average. It is nice that you stay online when data usage exceeds your bundle, although the speed drops (I haven't had to experience this myself).
Generally stable, although I did notice some speed fluctuations in remote areas of Hokkaido and in smaller villages along the KTX train route (Seoul-Busan).
Note regarding Hong Kong: you will receive an SMS with a link to register your name and ID details. This is mandatory for activation, but after that, it works perfectly.★

This is the easiest eSIM I've ever used. With other brands, I had to navigate to the setup page for installation and manually activate it upon arrival. If I encountered problems during activation or had no internet access, I could contact customer service. However, the eSIM provided by trip.com not only installs automatically with a single click but also automatically detects and switches upon arrival or departure from the country—it's incredibly convenient. Furthermore, the price is low while maintaining good network quality; I almost never experienced any lag or loss of connection. Highly recommended!★
