Installation was completed with just one touch of the app, and upon arriving at the airport, I switched to the eSIM and roamed on.
The signal was perfectly fine in Bangkok and Ayutthaya. I purchased a 1-day 3G plan, but if I use the hotel's Wi-Fi as well, I might be able to get by with less data. 🤭
In any case, I'd definitely like to use it again next time.★

I bought an e-SIM and activated it right away. I have a good 5G signal in central Pattaya. The good thing is that it's not a daily package, but an unlimited one (I think the description says 50GB, but I haven't checked, so I don't need that much).★

This was my first time using an eSIM card. I liked it: it was easy to register and activate on my phone. I got it for 13 days and used it in Thailand, sharing internet with a second phone. The signal was good, and everything loaded quickly. I used local messaging apps to order food and groceries. I also used Russian messaging apps for video calls home.★

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
