Travelling around Azerbaijan was surprisingly easy. We trekked in the Caucasus, we stayed in village Homestay an and old caravanserais. Azerbaijan is a little off the tourist trail. We loved it.

Everything installed smoothly using the eSIM adapter, but I had to manually select a carrier because the phone automatically selected the wrong option, and calls via [eSIM] were problematic. I checked the carriers supported by the SIM card in my profile, changed them manually, and had no connection issues for the next week. In Tbilisi and Batumi. I also appreciate the convenience of checking the remaining GB using the link in the booking document! I recommend it; it's cheaper and more convenient than buying a SIM card locally.

I've used Trip.com's E-SIM service several times in different countries. Installation was simple (I have an Android device). In Georgia, the connection was stable, even in the mountains. However, on the beach where we were relaxing, the signal was constantly dropping. But I don't think this is an E-SIM issue. Another inconvenience is that if you purchase additional data on an existing card, you can't activate it yourself (i.e., it's not automatically added to your plan). You have to monitor your remaining data and, when you run out, contact customer support to activate a new plan. Otherwise, it's convenient, simple, and, most importantly, affordable.

I don't know who complained about the maps, but everything works great. We've been to Georgia (in Tbilisi and Batumi at various points) and Armenia (in Yerevan) and everything loaded perfectly, the internet is sufficient. I recommend it to everyone!

It's convenient that trip.com checks the e-SIM compatibility with your phone beforehand. It's also convenient—there's a button in the app itself that will install everything for you. ℹ️ Perhaps the instructions should be shorter and more visually clear. 📲 For iPhone users, before installation, you should also check that iMessage is enabled (it's located under Settings -> Messages). After connecting the travel SIM and disconnecting the main one, it will be more difficult to enable iMessage, or to do it later through iCloud. This is a good SIM option with various service packages.
