The chef was wonderful. Their selection process, smiles, and clear, easy-to-understand explanations and teaching style were all excellent. There were 7 people in the class in total: 4 vegetarians and 3 non-vegetarians. The chef asked everyone what they wanted to make during the shopping trip before deciding on the menu. It was a very friendly and enjoyable class! Everything was delicious, and the after-meal coffee selection (three options to choose from) was a delightful touch. The communication was excellent, and the hotel pick-up arrived well before the scheduled time, which was very reassuring.

Best experience I had! Clear and deeply teaching us on every steps, beside how to cook, and how to select foods, and step by step very clear, they are speaking good English, very easy to communicate. For sure the meal is workable to cook after back to my home town.

Alex, our host, met us at the market and showed us how locals shop in Vietnam. Afterwards, we took a Grab ride to the venue (paid for by the organizer). It's a friendly and very nice place where you feel comfortable. As a group, we were able to choose two appetizers and one main course to cook together. We opted for banana blossom salad, fresh spring rolls, and pho bo. We also got to taste three different types of rice wine. For dessert, with Alex's help, we could prepare either hot chocolate or coffee with an egg or coconut topping. It was a wonderful experience that Alex made possible. The whole team is very warm and welcoming. You feel at home and learn a lot.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. I love coffee and enjoyed learning how to properly make it. The instructor was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and charming. I 100% recommend this. I also bought some goodies so that I can make these coffees at home.

Really enjoyed this cooking class and market visit. The market felt like one of the most 'authentic' experiences we had, weaving between hundreds of bikes and pedestrians and shopping alongside locals. The cooking is easy to follow but they let you do quite a lot of it, which is great (apparently some you just sort of watch the chef do it, but this was immersive). And the final dishes were absolutely incredible. Also suitable to vegetarians and vegans, on request.


