I spent 28 days traveling alone in India. Upon arriving in Bangalore, I bought a one-month SIM card from a local phone company – a mobile number and 1.2GB of data per day. Yesterday, I ran out of data and signal, which was incredibly frustrating. Thankfully, there's an eSIM – it's easy to install and use, inexpensive, and offers many plans to choose from. It's the perfect solution for controlling your travel budget or being a data hog! Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a mobile number, so many hotels, ride-hailing apps, and delivery apps can't contact you instantly or receive OTP authentication, etc., but it's just inconvenient and not essential. In short, eSIMs are incredibly convenient, and the date and time calculation is a huge benefit for travelers experiencing time zone differences. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs one.
