This is a native Thai eSIM card, so roaming isn't required. After setting it up in Taiwan, simply turn it on upon arrival in Thailand. On Android, you can't directly scan the SIM card using the QR code; you need to take a screenshot to another phone first, then scan the QR code with the camera. During the few days I used it, I didn't experience any lag. YouTube ran smoothly for research, and uploading pictures to LINE was seamless. The price is also affordable—under NT$200 for all-you-can-eat data—highly recommended.★

This esim is the best deal for Thailand. I stayed in Chiang Mai for two weeks and bought two 10 day esims. When one ran out I replaced it with another. You can top up with a on top package through the AIS app. While yes I does come with a local phone number I basically never used it. Like japan and Korea everyone uses Line for messaging, calls and even reservations. I personally recommend this ais esim for anyone coming to Thailand.★

I spent 8 days in Thailand and the internet was super smooth. However, 50GB was really too much; I only used less than 20GB in the end, which was a little wasteful. But it's still really necessary to prepare that much data. I had signal everywhere 📶 and could use my phone without worry. You can also install it directly from tirp.com, which is very easy to use. Will I buy it again for my next trip?!★
