This place features the largest infinity bath not only in Atami but also in Japan. The price includes a bedrock bath similar to a Korean jjimjilbang. There is a restaurant on the second floor; while the prices are on the higher side, if you order a main dish, you can enjoy a buffet-style meal with salad, rice, and side dishes. Vending machine drinks are expensive, so it is recommended to bring your own. Shuttle buses depart frequently from the McDonald's in front of Shizuoka Station, so you shouldn't have any trouble.★

This time, we arranged for Zhan Jie from Gogoday to be our guide. Jie clearly explained the history of the attractions along the way, as well as things to note when watching the fireworks. Although it was a Japanese holiday, our entire trip went very smoothly. Jie even arranged a last-minute visit to the pirate ship at Lake Ashi, which was definitely worthwhile! We arrived at Atami Beach around 5 PM, and because there weren't many people yet, we easily found a spot to watch the fireworks. Although we waited a while for the tour bus, it still arrived at Tokyo Station on time. Finally, because I was too tired, I forgot my belongings on the tour bus, and Jie immediately helped me contact the driver. I received a message from Jie before I even got out of bed the next morning, saying that my belongings had been retrieved. I'm extremely grateful for this small gesture, especially since it contained important medications. I highly recommend it! The fireworks are also definitely worth seeing!★

I thought the rain would be a disappointment, but I encountered Hakone at its most gentle. Lake Ashi in the rain resembled a watercolor painting, its surface shrouded in mist, with pirate ships gliding through it—it felt like something out of a Miyazaki animation. The torii gates over the water appeared even more serene on a rainy day, their vermilion gleaming after being washed clean by the rain, making for photos with an inherent sense of story. The moss and stone steps of Hakone Shrine, moistened by the rain, were exceptionally soothingly green. By evening, the rain had subsided in Atami, the lake a beautiful grey-blue, possessing a unique charm, and the evening fireworks bathed the entire area in romance.
A special thank you to our driver, Shao. We had missed the tram exit, but instead of making us return to the designated spot, he picked us up at the new exit and even brought umbrellas, making driving in the rain much safer. Visiting Hakone on a rainy day is definitely an underrated romantic experience.
