Early in the morning, between 8:15 and 9:00 AM, your professional guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel in downtown Xi'an. Your guide will then lead you to the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Museum (also known as the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum), a site steeped in millennia of history.
Upon entering the museum, you'll have approximately 2.5 hours to savor and explore this cultural treasure trove. The museum meticulously displays over 7,000 precious artifacts dating back to China's Qin Dynasty over 2,200 years ago. Each piece embodies the wisdom and dedication of ancient artisans, a true masterpiece. Among them are the lifelike Terracotta Warriors, which seem to silently tell the story of the wars of the time; pottery horses with diverse expressions depict the majestic postures of Qin Dynasty steeds; and numerous exquisitely shaped and exquisitely crafted bronze weapons, which inspire awe at the advanced smelting technology of ancient times. Through these artifacts, you'll delve into the legendary life of Qin Shi Huang, China's first emperor. With extraordinary courage and wisdom, he unified China, ended a long period of war and conflict, and established China's first feudal empire, laying a solid foundation for future development. The meticulous construction of this magnificent mausoleum began during his lifetime, demonstrating its vast scale and profound planning.
After you have finished browsing the museum's fascinating exhibits, filled with reflections and insights into history, we will arrange a private car to drive you back to your hotel within the Second Ring Road in downtown Xi'an smoothly and safely, allowing you to rest in a comfortable environment and savor this unforgettable cultural journey.
