I arrived in Guilin afternoon at 2pm. Charles contacted me prior to my arrival date to make sure itinerary is all set when I arrived. We also had great conversations on the road. I have a short stay here and he took me to all the highlights of yangshuo and guilin. Overall if anyone is looking for either a private tour or driver I would recommend Charles.★

This was an excellent day. Our guide, Oscar, speaks great English and found the perfect balance between being attentive, informative and non-intrusive. The boat trip was comfortable and beautiful. We then had a lovely cycle through the countryside and local farming area. The drive there (driven by Xu) and back was comfortable and relaxed. A really great day that was well worth the money. Booking VIP with transportation and box lunch was great. The VIP section has 12 people with a window that opens at the front. It's quieter and you have access to the back and top balcony. If you want largely unobstructed views, most local people take a nap after lunch and almost no one is upstairs.
