All animal greetings, jungle adventure tours and daytime behavior shows at Sun Square will be canceled when temperatures reach 40°C or above. Partial animal behavior show times may be adjusted when temperatures range between 37°C (inclusive) and 40°C. Specific performance times are subject to on-site announcements.
▲ This exhibition area is the first attraction in the drive-through section, where the "ships of the desert" - camels - will approach you slowly and gracefully. In the distance, black or white yaks can be seen playing, fighting, or resting on the nearby grassland. A large herd of mouflon sheep, numbering nearly a hundred, creates a chorus of bleating sounds while grazing, making visitors feel as if they're on the vast prairie. The area is also home to Guangxi miniature horses, fallow deer, and white fallow deer.
▲ African wilderness This exhibition area recreates the ecological environment of the African savanna, where herds of blue wildebeests and oryx graze on the grassland while occasionally casting wary glances toward the cheetah exhibit. On the white rhino territory, two mud-covered rhinos are engaged in a tense standoff.
▲ Graceful giraffe The giraffe is the tallest land animal in the world, but despite its height, it is actually timid and gentle. When encountering predators, it will immediately flee. The exhibit area showcases a savanna and sparse woodland setting. Visitors can observe the daily life of giraffes from the bus while enjoying scenes of giraffes coexisting harmoniously with other animals.
▲ The king of the savanna The African lion is the largest extant feline by average weight, with males having manes while females do not. ▲ Wild mighty bear Wild mighty bear: Built to simulate a natural ecological environment, featuring rocky mountains, ponds, and ditches. Trees and shrubs are planted to provide more free space for brown bears and black bears. The water-loving mighty bears are excellent swimmers and skilled "fish catchers," often catching fish in the pool for a tasty snack.
▲ The king of the forest The Siberian tiger inhabits forests, shrubs, and grassy areas. With sharp senses, a fierce nature, and swift movements, it excels at swimming and climbing trees. It is the largest extant carnivorous feline, with males reaching up to 2.8 m in length and weighing over 350 kg. Its large, round head features several black stripes on the forehead, often connected in the middle, resembling the Chinese character for "king," hence its title as the "king of the forest."
