07:50 Take the bus to Valladolid, a landmark colonial city established during the Spanish invasion of the Yucatán Peninsula.

Arrive at the town at 10:20, then take a short break while visiting the city center.

Depart at 10:50 to Chichen Itza, which means "at the mouth of the well of the Itza." Built by the Mayan civilization, it is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

11:50 Arrive at the ancient ruins of Chichen Itza. The entire attraction encompasses multiple ancient relics, with the most famous being the [El Castillo (Pyramid of Kukulcan)]. If you're fortunate enough to visit during the spring or autumn equinox at sunrise or sunset, you can witness the corners of the structure casting serpent-like shadows on the northern staircase of the pyramid, creating the illusion of a descending feathered serpent as the sun moves.

1:50 PM Head to [Cenote]

14:20 Arrive at the cenote and enjoy a buffet lunch (dining time: 1 hour)

15:20 [Cenote] Located near the Chichen Itza attraction, as the Yucatán Peninsula has few surface rivers, the local cenotes naturally became gathering places for the ancient Maya people. Followers of the Maya rain god Chaac regarded them as sacred sites and offered jade, pottery, and incense as sacrifices by throwing them into the cenotes. We'll have about 1 hour of free time here.
