Reviews: A one-day tour of the Palace Museum in Beijing [Pre-sale for Chinese New Year, including admission | Detailed lectures by a scholar | Gift of precious artifacts]
Guest User2026-02-11
Xiucai said that Guide Li (Xiaohai) took me to visit the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City truly deserves its reputation as one of my country's and even the world's most precious cultural heritages. The magnificent palaces and exquisite treasures were breathtaking and unforgettable. The mysterious court history and the rise and fall of the Ming and Qing dynasties evoked mixed feelings in people's hearts. Guide Li's explanations were meticulous and vivid, combining engaging stories with detailed historical facts. He also shared many fantastic photo spots and suggestions for future visits. Very helpful! In short, this trip to the Forbidden City was well worth it. My child was also deeply educated and inspired; for three hours, he followed Guide Li closely, listening with rapt attention! 😀
Reviews: National Museum of China [Expert Guide · VIP Private Tour with Admission Ticket]
Guest User2025-12-08
During the snowy holiday in Jilin, my child and I went to promote the economic development of the capital. It was easy to book tickets for the National Museum of China, but we struggled with the guided tour. To ensure a better experience for my child, we booked a private guided tour, which was absolutely worthwhile. After watching the flag-raising ceremony in the morning, my child was tired, so our guide, Yang, led the tour while the child sat down. Once the child had rested, we went to see the exhibits mentioned in the tour. The National Museum of China was truly impressive. I'm so grateful to our guide, Yang Tianrui, for his meticulous explanations; they left a deep impression on my child.
Reviews: Forbidden City,Treasure Museum Small Group Tour (Optional English,Spanish,Russian Guide)
Guest User2026-02-06
The tour includes an entrance ticket to the Forbidden City and the Treasure Museum. Your ticket is tied to your passport! Don't forget it. There were 10 of us in our group. Entry through the main southern gate was quick. Pick up your bag for the morning after 9 a.m. The tour lasts about 4 hours. The grounds are so vast that you won't be able to see everything. We visited all the main halls and the gates leading to them, the chambers of Empress Dowager Cixi, the Treasure Museum, and exited through the North Gate. Unfortunately, no one is allowed inside the halls, and it's difficult to see much through the half-open doors and dirty glass. The Treasure Museum was incredibly crowded, so we couldn't get a good look. Chinese New Year was probably a factor. The tour was well organized. Our guide, Alina, was very responsive and helped us not only with the tour but also with other pressing questions. However, I personally missed more detailed historical facts (which is why I took the tour, as audio guides often fail during independent exploration).
Reviews: Gubei Water Town Day Trip - & Optional Night Tour of Simatai Great Wall & Optional Lunch
Guest User2025-11-17
A wonderful excursion, we absolutely loved it! Everything was exactly as described. We purchased the boats and daytime cable car separately for 80 and 160 yuan per person, respectively. I highly recommend it. The tour price also included lunch in a hot pot, which was also perfect. We visited Gubei on November 16th, and we were lucky with the weather (sunny all day). The temperature was 3-4 degrees Celsius during the day and 0 - -2 degrees Celsius after sunset. Wrap up as warm as possible, as VKS is not only cold but also very windy. Our guide was Roberta, a wonderful woman who explained everything in detail, provided backup and assistance if needed. You can buy a super warm fleece jacket from the bus driver for 50 yuan. If you decide to take a taxi back to Beijing, it will cost around 400-500 yuan.
