Reviews: Bruges and Ghent - Belgium's Fairytale Cities - from Brussels
Guest User2025-07-18
Certainly! Here’s a one-paragraph review: I recently joined a guided tour of Bruges and Ghent and had a great experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating insights into the history, architecture, and culture of both cities. Highlights included visits to the Markt and canals in Bruges and to Gravensteen Castle and St. Bavo’s Cathedral in Ghent, with plenty of interesting stories and recommendations for local food along the way. The tour was well-paced and made exploring both cities easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get the most out of their visit to Bruges and Ghent.
Reviews: 40-Minute Guided boat trip in medieval Ghent

Our guide was Estee, a local girl born and raised in Ghent that fell in love with her city and really knows how to transmit that love to us. Incredibly knowledgeable and very good boat driver. The views were stunning rich with history. I recommend this activity and above all, I recommend Estee the guide. Ask for her!

A pleasant and well-narrated walk. The benches are comfortable and the duration of approximately 45 minutes is sufficient.

Trip was amazing and Andrea, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and thorough. Bring euros for the boat ride and bathroom. You don’t want to miss these two beautiful, quaint cities!

Me and my family had a great time with Sophie as our tour guide! we learned a lot about the city and loved the food as well. Sophie was a great host, was passionate about the city and its history, and even gave us some suggestions on places to check out after the tour. would definitely book again and recommend to friends!
