This trip to Shangri-La is really worth it! Special thanks to Master Lu for taking me to Songzanlin Temple early in the morning, perfect to avoid the crowds, and took a lot of beautiful scenery! Then I went to Pudacuo National Park. The scenery of Duhu Lake was so beautiful that people could breathe. I have been to Napa Sea. Master Lu sent me to the niche Shika Snow Mountain and received a surprise!
Because of Master Lu's professionalism, the whole journey is both worry-free and fulfilling. Highly recommended to all friends who want to come to Shangri-La for in-depth tours, choose Master Lu will definitely make your trip different!★

The tour was nice, we saw beautiful places but the guide was not speaking english at all. The first stop to see the bend of the river was not done. We had to pay some extras for wearing local costumes and riding horses around Napa area. If you don’t pay, then you have 2 hours free but there is nothing much to do around except pictures with horses. But the meal was included with local food and a dance show. At the end, it was a nice day but don’t expect to learn information about the places you will see if you don’t speak chinese.★

The time of departure is earlier than what was advertised. I was pick up at 05:50H. You need to download WeChat to be able to communicate to the Driver. I was able to meet younger Chinese who knows how to speak in English and we become friends 😁 They are the one who explain to me what was happening, also the Driver/tour guide will message you in WeChat to make sure you understand. There are extra payment if you wanted to ride horse going around.It was amazingly gorgeous experience. You’ll pay ¥150 yuan but it was worth the price. In leaping tiger gorge there’s an extra ¥70 yuan for elevator used but it’s optional. The itinerary is a bit different from what was advertised but it’s was worth the price & we ended the tour around 7pm. Lastly, listen to driver than trip com message. The trip state I’ll be pick up @6:30 but the driver stated 0550 at the pick up Point & he was there. Good thing I’m ready.The lunch was delicious & fun we dance 💃 Asa solo traveler this activityRecommended 💯★

We were so glad that we booked this trip to travel between Lijiang and Shangri-la. We had already booked our accommodation in both places, and at first were considering to take the train, but we are so glad we chose this option instead. The driver picked us up from the hotel in Lijiang at 8am and we went to a local market for breakfast, which I had requested the day before. We arrived at our hotel in Shangri-La before 6pm. On the way we visited Tiger Leaping Gorge, witnessed the amazing scenery along the way and also visited Songzanlin Monastery on our arrival in Shangri-La. Jennifer our tour guide was really great. She is a local Naxi person, and told us a lot about Naxi culture and traditions and was really interesting to listen to, without being too talkative or giving information overload. She also left us to have some time on our own, and we didn't feel pressured or rushed. The whole pace was relaxing and stress free. Thankyou so much for a wonderful day!★

The driver was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. First we went to Songzanlin Monastery. After the Monastery, things got complicated. We went to Yila Napa Grassland for horse riding. I really would NOT advise the HORSE RIDING - AVOID IT like you avoid the plague! There were tiers with different prices. I took tier B CNY 280 which I still considered expensive. This was where communication breakdown happened as the horse herder ask me to dismount and she left me at the top of a hill and she went all the way back down the hill without me on the horse. I asked what's happening using translator app (did not work). So I walked all the way down & was asked to mount the horse again there, FEELING CHEATED. The driver apologized profusely for the communication breakdown and treated me with a free lunch. The rest of the tour went smoothly when we went to Potatso National Park. Conclusion - better to go to Napa Sightseeing Platform to enjoy the view and scenery.
