Giovanna was amazing . Her knowledge and fluency was outstanding. She was very kind and she showed us around the Cathedrals , streets and shared a lot of history. We had enough time to eat a nice Italian lunch . The Gondola ride was very scenic ! I really enjoyed this tour and it’s a must if you are in Venice for the first time !

Venice is everything you dream it to be. It is not to be missed. An ancient labyrinth of beautiful architecture. The canals and gondolas and bridges are so picturesque and iconic. That said this is a loooong day. 6:30am to 9:30 pm. I’ve been on tours that we’ve taken the high speed train between destinations, which would be a better idea here. Also as mentioned in other reviews, the switch between English, Spanish and Italian is hard to keep up with and the female guide in Venice itself is impossible to hear or understand. I found myself just wanting the guided part of the tour to be over, so I could do my own thing.

Roberta was an excellent guide. I told her when checking in that I was handicapped, so I am very slow doing stairs so please don't leave me if I lag behind the group. She constantly checked to make sure I was with the group. But kudos to the group too, as they helped me wherever there were no handrails to hold onto. The tour was very complete; we saw every important site on our list. My hip and legs were hurting from all the walking and steps, so my travel partner suggested I not do Doges Palace which was the last third of the tour after a lunch break. I told her I want to see it and will take a nap at the hotel when we were finished with the tour. Wow! I am so glad I saw that beautiful building too. Don't miss this tour if you have never been to Venice! And even the gondola ride was better than I expected. I would give this tour 10 stars, why are they limiting me to just 5 stars?
