I think this is a very worthwhile part of Kota Kinabalu; the fireflies are beautiful, and the tour guide is excellent. Aside from the slightly bumpy ride on the main road, there are no other downsides.★

Excellent! We saw proboscis monkeys and crocodiles, enjoyed a sumptuous afternoon tea, witnessed a stunning sunset, and even had crab at the evening buffet – it was delicious! Although it rained after dinner, it didn't affect the fireflies' glow at all; seeing so many fireflies for the first time was truly breathtaking. A very worthwhile travel experience! ^ω^★

Our tour guide, Xiao Chen, was lovely and wonderful! There were more places to eat than we expected, and fresh coconuts were available for purchase. The mountain road was a bit bumpy, but that was unavoidable given the environment. There was also a free farm where we could feed the animals, which were very cute. The staff on the boats to see the monkeys and fireflies were all very cheerful. It was a very worthwhile trip!★

It was a pity we didn't see the proboscis monkeys, but we did see a lot of fireflies, which was nice. The Sky Mirror was also a great spot for taking pictures. Overall, apart from the disappointment of not seeing the proboscis monkeys, I was quite satisfied.★

The tour is a must when in KK. You get value for money for all the activities in one package. You get to have a photo stop at the floating mosque, spot proboscis monkeys and other wildlife in the river, chase sunset at the beach, enjoy Malay dinner, and witness fireflies illuminate the night. Two words: Worth It!
