Huoshiniao Warm Spring Area
Nuanquan District is named after the red-billed scimitar babbler (halpis) from Bunun tribe legends, which brought fire to the tribe. The hot spring water has an average temperature of 42 degrees Celsius and is a neutral sodium bicarbonate spring, known as Taiwan's "beauty soup" for its clear quality that nourishes the body and mind. This area features two hot spring pools: an outdoor pool surrounded by stone walls and plants, and a semi-outdoor pool with exposed concrete walls and lush vegetation for shade and privacy. Here, you can immerse yourself in the soothing, healing spring water while gazing at the vibrant green valley.

Sambar Deer Water Play Area
The water play area is named after the Formosan sambar deer (hanvang), which are often found near clean water sources in the grassy areas of Hualien and Taitung, moving freely through steep valleys—much like children playing freely in nature here. Set against a mountain forest backdrop, this area combines playground and pool features with varying water depths for safe play across all ages. It includes climbing nets, water slides, and various spray jets, ensuring both kids and adults can fully enjoy water-based fun.

Gemma Spa Area
The spa area features a baseball-themed canopy inspired by the famous autumn leaves, where visitors can relax in the large spa pool under the dome and enjoy 10 different water jet massage facilities targeting various body parts, experiencing healing from water temperature and pressure. Gemma means "right now," hoping that visitors to Maple Leaf Valley can fully enjoy the refreshing moment of "right now."

Monkey Play Area
After playing in the water, children can come ashore to the nearby play area, run and play barefoot on the lush green lawn, climb into a large tree hollow, sit on a seesaw, or simply rest for a while, spending a joyful and carefree childhood like little monkeys in the nearby mountains.
