I spent two days in Semporna. The night before, I booked a Mataking Island hopping tour recommended by our guide, Xiaoyong. After comparing several companies, I felt this one offered the best price, itinerary, and time. The next morning, we met at the pier before 9 am. Even before boarding the boat, we were greeted by the staff's enthusiasm and smiling service. Our group consisted of about ten people in a small boat. The itinerary started with a photo shoot at Bang Bang Island. The beach and the crystal-clear water were absolutely beautiful, and the weather was perfect for taking great pictures. Next, we changed into our swimsuits and headed to a nearby snorkeling spot. The snorkeling provided goggles and disposable mouthpieces. Before diving, a Chinese-speaking instructor explained the key points and safety precautions. There were three dive sites in total. The one near Mataking Island had the most beautiful coral and the most fish. At the last dive site, Timba Timba, we saw two sea turtles. The snorkeling instructor was very attentive and responsible. Although I can't swim, he watched me carefully the whole time and took more than ten photos of me. His technique was quite good. We had lunch on the second island; the chicken was quite tasty. The tour ended around 5 pm, and we returned to the starting pier. Overall, the experience was very good, and I would definitely consider signing up for scuba diving here next time I come to Semporna.

We started off a little delayed but that didn’t take away from the experience of the trip! The team were excellent throughout the tour, and were ready to help those who were unable to swim. The snorkelling equipment was not the best, but still usable. For the hike, it is VERY strenuous so I would bear that in mind, but the view at the top is nice. The areas we stopped in after were beautiful, in particular the beach on Sibuan Island. Would highly recommend!

I never leave reviews, but this time was an exception. If 100 is a perfect score, I'd give it 200. Two one-on-one guidance and photography sessions during deep-sea diving trips; they found great angles, taught me poses, and the photos and videos were fantastic. They also recorded videos of snorkeling and the water slide. On the yacht and ashore, local staff took photos and videos for you, and they were so good at posing! Many of the photos taken with my iPhone didn't even need editing. Furthermore, the boat provided water, snacks, and dry towels, and the staff even performed talents, providing a lot of emotional support.
