Eurail German Mobile Pass
- The Eurail German Rail Pass is a universal train ticket that allows you to travel freely and flexibly on trains in various regions of Germany.
- After purchase, you can travel freely and unlimitedly on the German railway network, including trains to Salzburg in Austria and Basel-Bad in Switzerland.
- You decide your destination and departure time. If you miss a train or your schedule changes, just hop on the next train. Passengers can choose between first class or second class travel with the Eurail German Rail Pass.
There are two types of passes:
(1) Flexible Ride Type:With a Flex Pass you can travel on trains for free on 3, 4, 5, 7, 10 or 15 days of your choice within a month.

[Pass validity period]
Activation date: refers to the first usage date selected when the pass is bound to the APP.
1. Before the pass is bound to the APP and activated:
This pass is valid for activation within 11 months from the date of issue (purchase) (except for promotional products stated otherwise) and will become invalid upon expiration.
For example, if the pass is purchased on January 1st, before it is activated, the pass is valid for 11 months starting from January 1st and can be activated on any day within 11 months.
2. After the pass is activated by binding the APP:

The validity period of the pass starts from the first travel date selected when the pass is bound to the APP, and it must be used for N consecutive days.
For example, if you purchased a continuous 15-day package on January 1st, and you chose to start using it on February 1st when binding the APP, the validity period will be calculated from February 1st selected during activation and will expire on February 15th.
[Flexible type]
Starting from the first travel date selected when binding the pass to the APP, you can use it on any N days within X months based on the validity period and number of days of the purchased pass.
For example, if you purchase a flexible package that allows you to use the app on any 4 days within a month, and you choose to start using the app on February 1st, the package will be valid for one month starting from February 1st, and you can choose any 4 days to use the package.

Please download the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner App and activate your pass within 11 months of purchase. The activation date is the date you select when activating your pass using the Rail Planner App and your pass will be valid from that date.
Notes on using Eurail German Rail Pass:
1. The name on the pass must be consistent with the valid passport/ID document. If the conductor finds any discrepancy during ticket inspection, he may require a full fare ticket and charge a fine of 200 euros.
2. The pass must be activated within 11 months from the date of purchase. Expired passes will be automatically invalidated.

[Child-related regulations]
- Children aged 4 to 11 can travel free with a child pass
- Each adult passenger can bring 2 children with them for free. For example, when 2 adults travel by bus, they can bring a total of 4 children with them for free. If an adult passenger needs to bring more than 2 children, they need to purchase a separate Youth Pass for the 3rd or more children.
- Passengers holding a Senior Pass or Youth Pass are not eligible to bring children along for free. Children must purchase a Child Pass.
- Children must be accompanied by at least one adult passenger at all times. The accompanying person must be over 18 years of age, but does not have to be a family member of the child.
- Children aged 3 or under can ride for free without purchasing a pass. Children aged 3 or under cannot occupy a seat. During busy traffic hours, the accompanying adult must hold the child on his lap. If children aged 3 or under require an independent seat, they must purchase a child pass. The agent must calculate the free child pass based on the ratio of adult passengers to free accompanying children.

[Refund and Change Rules]
- When you bind the APP, you will be asked to select the first date of use (i.e. the first ride date). From that date, the subscription will be activated and cannot be canceled. If you need to cancel the subscription, please cancel the activation three days before this date and apply to the customer service for cancellation.
How to deactivate
- Go to the Rail Planner App [My Pass] page, tap the three dots in the upper right corner, and tap [Deactivate Pass]. If [Deactivate Pass] is not displayed, it means the first date selected when activating the pass has passed and the pass is non-refundable.
