In summer, you can take the Assmannshausen cable car into the valley (at your own expense), have lunch in a restaurant on the banks of the Rhine, and then take a boat to St. Gohausen, passing by the famous Lore. Sample fine wines in a tavern or lose yourself in the picturesque town of Ruedheim. Please note that the tour only stops in Ruedheim if time permits. During the winter, the boat may not be able to operate due to weather or water conditions. In this case, the castle will be visited instead.
