7. The Amazon region is hot, rainy, and humid. So please be prepared. The mode of transport for the activity is a simple, open wooden motorized canoe.

Itinerary reference introduction:
Amazon Expedition: Jungle Trekking, Swimming with Pink Dolphins, Lunch with a Local Family, Piranha Fishing, and Crocodile Watching. Pick-up from your hotel around 8:00 AM, departing from Manaus and driving west for about an hour to Lake Castaño. Embark on a 2-3 hour trek through the jungle in a motorized canoe. Learn more about Amazon flora and fauna, medicinal plants, and jungle survival skills. Friendly reminder: Long pants, closed-toe shoes, insect repellent, and a raincoat are required. Visit a project to conserve pink river dolphins. Learn about the ongoing efforts to protect them. Take the opportunity to interact with them in the water. Remember to bring your swimsuit and towel! Visit a local indigenous family and have lunch with them. Learn more about their culture and Amazon history. Next, take a boat trip through the forest to fish for piranhas. As night falls, begin searching for crocodiles and other reclusive nocturnal wildlife. Return to your hotel in Manaus around 8:00 PM. End of an unforgettable Amazon Expedition.

If your hotel is not listed, you will need to take an Uber to the vicinity of the Amazon Theatre in downtown Manaus and meet the staff at 8:00 am.
