[Pass validity period]

Activation date: refers to the first usage date selected when the pass is bound to the APP.

1. Before the pass is bound to the APP and activated:

This pass is valid for activation within 11 months from the date of issue (purchase) (except for promotional products stated otherwise) and will become invalid upon expiration.

For example, if the pass is purchased on January 1st, before it is activated, the pass is valid for 11 months starting from January 1st and can be activated on any day within 11 months.

2. After the pass is activated by binding the APP:

The validity period of the pass starts from the first travel date selected when the pass is bound to the APP, and it must be used for N consecutive days.

For example, if you purchased a continuous 15-day package on January 1st, and you chose to start using it on February 1st when binding the APP, the validity period will be calculated from February 1st selected during activation and will expire on February 15th.

[Flexible type]

Starting from the first travel date selected when binding the pass to the APP, you can use it on any N days within X months based on the validity period and number of days of the purchased pass.

3. Can multiple passes be bound to one device?

You can add as many passes to your device as you like. Once you activate your pass on a trip, you can also transfer it to another device (one time only). If you are traveling as a group and have multiple passes on one device, everyone will need to travel together on all trips.

If you are traveling with multiple people, you can activate multiple tickets on the same phone at the same time. If you have multiple passes on your phone, please note the following:

(1) Each pass must create a separate itinerary in the App

(2) If you have already created an itinerary, you can copy the existing itinerary and link the copy to another pass. Please give each itinerary a different name so that you can manage all your itineraries.

(3) When checking the tickets, you will need to show the ticket for each member using the pass. Please select other passes in "My Pass" and click "Show ticket".

(4) The ticket inspector will scan the QR code to check whether the train you are taking matches the train shown on your ticket. They will also check your personal information and may ask to see your passport or ID card.

4. Traveling with children?

Children's passes need to be activated like regular passes and can be placed on a separate device. Children's passes should always have their own travel and ticket so they can be checked on the train.

How to use
1. After the ticket is issued, you will receive a confirmation email from Trip.com, which contains your reservation name and ticket number (usually a six-digit combination of numbers and letters). One name corresponds to one ticket number. 2. Please go to the Rail Planner App to activate the pass before your first trip and select the date of your first trip. Please note that you can only ride after activation. 3. Please plan your trip in advance and save itinerary (please refer to the details page for details). When boarding, please show the QR code in the Rail Planner App to the conductor for inspection. If you need to reserve a seat for the route, please also show the reservation information. Each travel day will have a separate ticket with a QR code. The ticket inspector will scan the QR code to verify whether the train itinerary you are taking is included in your ticket. If you hold a first-class ticket, you can travel in a second-class carriage without refunding the difference. 5. Please carry your passport with you, as the conductor may check it. 6. Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the date of use, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 100% will be charged.
Cancellation is not allowed after activation or reservation.

  • Children aged 4 to 11 can travel free with a child pass
  • Each adult passenger can bring 2 children with them for free. For example, when 2 adults travel by bus, they can bring a total of 4 children with them for free. If an adult passenger needs to bring more than 2 children, they need to purchase a separate Youth Pass for the 3rd or more children.
  • Passengers holding a Senior Pass or Youth Pass are not eligible to bring children along for free. Children must purchase a Child Pass.
