[eSIM usage conditions]

1. The device supports eSIM function

Query method: Dial *#06# in the phone interface. Generally, if there is EID, it means eSIM is supported. If there is no EID, eSIM cannot be used.

2. The phone is not a network-locked phone

Query method: Check with the operator whether your device is network locked.

*Please check whether you meet the above conditions before purchasing. Only if you meet them can you use eSIM normally.

[Set up eSIM]

The eSIM can only be installed when there is an Internet connection, so it is recommended to install the eSIM 6-12 hours before departure.

[Enable data roaming]

Please make sure the "Data Roaming" option is enabled for your eSIM.

How to use
[Install eSIM]
Quick installation in the APP for iPhone:
Upgrade your iPhone to iOS17.4 and above to install it in one click in the Trip.com APP.
Installation steps: Trip-Go to Account-All Orders-Click the "Install" button to achieve one-click installation.
 
Install using QR code:
iPhone:
1. Open the QR code attachment in the Trip.com APP, and the phone can save the QR code image directly to the phone.
2. Go to "Settings> Cellular> Add eSIM", select "Use QR code", and then scan the QR code.
3. Click "Activate eSIM", then click "Continue", select a label or enter a custom label for subsequent use.
Other brands of mobile phones (the installation method varies slightly for different models):
1. Go to "Settings", tap "Network & Internet", and then tap + next to the SIM card.
2. Tap 'Download SIM card?', then tap 'Next' on the next page.
3. When you see 'Scan QR code from the network', scan the QR code with your phone, then tap 'Download'.
4. When the screen displays 'Download complete', tap 'Set up'.
 
Manual installation:
1. Go to 'Settings > Network > Add eSIM'.
2. Select 'Use QR code', then tap 'Manually enter details' at the bottom, enter 'SM-DP+ address' and 'Activation code', then tap 'Next'.
3. Tap 'Activate eSIM', then tap 'Continue'. Select a label or enter a custom label for later use.
 
[Using eSIM]
1. Turn off the main card and turn on the eSIM network switch
2. Enable cellular network (iOS) or SIM card (Android)
3. Turn on data roaming
4. If you still cannot access the Internet after the above settings, please set the APN and restart. See the message below for details.
 
[About APN]
1. If you purchase an eSIM that covers multiple countries/regions, when you arrive in a new area, if you cannot connect to the Internet, please manually switch the APN (it will switch automatically under normal circumstances)
2. Setting path: Cellular number--Cellular data network, or mobile network--Mobile data network, or mobile service--Mobile data network
3. Enter APN: plus
4. Restart your phone
 
[Support multiple downloads and installations]
Each QR code can be downloaded and installed 10 times, if the eSIM is deleted from the phone, you can install it again.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
Cancellation is not allowed once the product is activated.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
Important note

Please confirm whether your phone supports eSIM before placing an order.

Query method: Dial "*#06#" on the phone interface. If EID appears, it means the phone supports eSIM. Otherwise, it does not support eSIM.

During the validity period, the eSIM can be installed multiple times on the same mobile phone. Once installed successfully, the device cannot be changed for installation.


FAQ:

1. Can I install an eSIM outside of the eSIM plan destination?

Answer: It can be installed but cannot be enabled. You can directly turn on the eSIM after arriving at your destination.


2.How is the usage time of eSIM package calculated?

Answer: After arriving at the package destination, the eSIM package generates traffic, which means the eSIM is activated and the time starts, and the days are calculated based on 24 hours.


3. What should I do if there is still no network after arriving at the destination and turning on the eSIM?

A: Turn on data roaming for the eSIM, check that the APN and ICCID of the eSIM are correct, and try to switch to a supported operator listed in the package.


4. How to check ICCID?

iPhone: Settings > General > About > ESIM

Android: Settings > About Phone > SIM status(sim slot 2) > ICCID, EID
