Seattle Center is a legacy site of the 1962 World's Fair and has developed into a cultural park that integrates technology, art, music, and urban history. Iconic venues such as the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Museum of Pop Culture, and Pacific Science Center are all located here. The International Fountain plaza, as the central open space of the park, is a place for visitors to rest and gather. The Space Needle is the park's iconic landmark. The observation deck offers 360-degree panoramic views. The observation level features a rotating glass floor, allowing you to look directly down at the city ground through the transparent glass beneath your feet. On clear days, you can see Mount Rainier in the distance from the tower, and at dusk, you have the chance to see the silhouette of the snow-capped mountain and the city lights turning on one by one. Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibits numerous works by glass artist Dale Chihuly, with indoor galleries and outdoor gardens complementing each other. The Museum of Pop Culture was designed by architect Frank Gehry. The museum features an interactive Sound Lab where visitors can get hands-on experience with instruments like electric guitars, drums, and keyboards, and even try their hand at mixing music. The Pacific Science Center is family-friendly, featuring an IMAX theater and a tropical butterfly house, where butterflies reside year-round in a warm and humid environment. The park hosts the Festál series of cultural festivals throughout the year, centered around the International Fountain plaza and various venues, showcasing music, dance, and cuisine from different ethnic groups.Seattle · 2.1km from downtown

The Museum of Flight

The Museum of Flight is one of the larger aviation museums in the western United States, housing over 100 aircraft along with various aircraft blueprints and component tools. It showcases a wide range of aircraft from the Wright brothers' invention to World War I and II-era planes and modern British Airways aircraft, with the entire evolution narrating humanity's boundless imagination and pursuit of the skies. The Museum of Flight can be roughly divided into six exhibition areas: The Great Gallery, The Personal Courage Wing, The Red Barn, Space Exhibit, Simulators and Aviation Pavilion. 1. The Great Gallery The Great Gallery stands six stories tall, with over 40 aircraft from different eras either suspended in mid-air or displayed on the ground. The M-21 Blackbird high-speed reconnaissance aircraft at the center of the hall is particularly striking. The adjacent control tower exhibition area faces the runway of Boeing Field, allowing travelers to watch planes take off and land through the glass while listening to real-time communications between air traffic controllers and pilots—a unique feature many travelers might overlook. On one side of the main hall, the children's flight zone and flight simulation experiences also cater well to families with kids. 2. The personal courage wing The personal courage wing displays aircraft from participating nations during the two world wars across two floors and tells the stories of the pilots behind these planes. 3. The red barn The red barn (The Red Barn) is the original wooden structure factory building left when Boeing was founded in 1909. It is regarded as the birthplace of Boeing, with historical materials from the company's early development displayed inside. 4. Space exhibit & simulators Space Exhibit & Simulators are two places specially designed for children, featuring cool spaceships and fun aircraft simulators, which kids will surely love. 5. Aviation Pavilion The aviation pavilion features heavyweight exhibits like the Boeing 747 prototype "City of Everett," the Boeing 737 prototype, and an early jet-powered Air Force One presidential aircraft, which visitors can board. A British Airways Concorde supersonic airliner is also displayed nearby. The space exhibit showcases a full-scale space shuttle trainer, used by NASA astronauts for pre-launch rehearsals before every shuttle mission prior to its retirement.Seattle · 10.1km from downtown

Mount Rainier National Park

Mount Rainier National Park is located in the Cascade Range and has a long history. The park's main peak, Mount Rainier, has an elevation of approx. 4,400 m and is an active, snow-capped volcano surrounded by glaciers, attracting many climbers every year who attempt to reach the summit. From the towering, ancient coniferous forests in the low-altitude valleys to the open subalpine meadows halfway up the mountain, and the waterfalls in the canyons, the landscape is distinct and layered, with wildlife such as black bears, deer, and marmots often seen roaming the area. Paradise on the south slope is the park's signature area: in summer, wildflowers bloom across the mountainside, usually reaching their peak from late July to early August, and the classic Skyline Trail starts here. In winter, it transforms into a snow-covered wonderland, having recorded over 28 m of snowfall in a single year; playing in the snow and snowshoeing are classic activities here year-round. Built in the early 20th century, Paradise Inn is known for its log beams and large cobblestone fireplace, and you can see the snow-capped mountain and meadows from the window. On the drive to Paradise, you will also pass Narada Falls, which is worth parking to see. Sunrise on the northeast side presents a different kind of expansive scenery: it is the highest point in the park accessible by road, offering a close-up view of the massive Emmons Glacier, and on clear days, you can see neighboring peaks such as Mount Baker and Glacier Peak.Pierce County · 95km from Seattle

University of Washington

University of Washington is a public research university located in Seattle. The eastern edge of its main campus borders the open waters of Lake Washington. With red-brick and gray-stone academic buildings, vast lawns, and tree-lined paths interwoven throughout, the entire campus feels more like a park where you can wander at will. The campus highlights are concentrated in the central area: The Quad is planted with nearly 30 Yoshino cherry trees that are over 90 years old. They usually reach full bloom in mid-to-late March, creating a sea of pink and white flowers against the gray-brick academic buildings, making this a representative spot for cherry blossom viewing in Seattle during the spring. Red Square, located on the south side of the Quad, is paved with red bricks and serves as the campus gathering hub. To the west of Red Square, Suzzallo Library is a masterpiece of Collegiate Gothic architecture, with towering pointed arch windows and towers that exude an academic atmosphere. The Graduate Reading Room inside is famous for its stained-glass windows and wooden vaulted ceilings. Walking south from Red Square along the lawn corridor, the circular Drumheller Fountain aligns perfectly with Mount Rainier in the distance. The view framing the fountain, the green corridor, and the snow-capped mountain is a classic, highly recognizable photo spot for this university. Visitors interested in nature and culture can also check out the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture on campus, which features unique dinosaur fossils and art collections.Seattle · 5.8km from downtown

You can walk to the Seattle 520 Bridge from Bellevue, as shown in Figure 1. There is also a beautiful park and parking lot here. If you like to walk across the bridge, you can reach Seattle. If you like to take the bus, you can also do so. The bus station is just below the parking lot. There are many buses and the waiting time is not long. It is very convenient.

It is worth a visit even if you are not a fan of flights. We spent more than 3 hours there. It’s huge and educational. It is amazing that there are so many different types of airplanes. You can even go inside the Air Force one to see the layout. Great experience.

This is in Seattle, after all, this is a place to visit. But compared to Suizhou in China, this place is practically a little brother and doesn't hold much significance. However, if you're planning to visit the place shown in the picture below, this is a must-see. It's not much, just simple female massage, but you can definitely learn a lot from it. That's for sure.

The learning atmosphere is great, and it is a good university for studying. The cost-effectiveness of tuition fees can be improved... Children can come here for summer camps to experience the atmosphere of a world-renowned university. The natural scenery here is also great. You can sit on the grass and read quietly under the blue sky on weekends...

My classmates who are far away in Canada rarely post photos and travel information about scenery, but this national park is an exception. Not only is it compared with Banff and Jiuzhaigou, but it also receives rare likes and support.

The Skydeck is a place to enjoy the city view of Seattle. There are not many high-rise buildings in Seattle, so the city view during the day is average. But Seattle at night is very beautiful.
