How to use
[Install eSIM]
Please confirm the following before installation:
1. Your device supports eSIM, and your phone is unlocked.
2. Your phone is connected to a stable mobile network or Wi-Fi.

After initial installation, the eSIM is bound to your current device and cannot be transferred to another device. Therefore, please confirm your device before installation.

Method 1 One-Click Installation
Complete quick installation by clicking the "Install" button in the Trip.com App or the "One-Click Installation" link in your voucher (iOS devices require version 17.4 or later).

Method 2 Scan QR Code / Manual Input Installation (General)
1. Open the QR code attachment in your Trip.com App order and print it out beforehand or save it to another electronic device. (iOS 17 or later and some Android phones can directly save the QR code image to their phone.)
2. Go to "Settings" > "Cellular" (iOS) or "SIM Management" (Android). 3. With your phone connected to the internet, tap "Add eSIM/Add Cellular" (iOS) or "Add SIM Card" (Android), then scan the QR code to complete the installation.
4. If you cannot scan, you can also manually enter the "SM-DP + Address" and "Activation Code" provided in your order to complete the installation.
5. If steps 3 or 4 fail, your device may be locked to another network by your local operator (restricting access to other networks). Please contact your operator to unlock the device before installing the eSIM.

[Enable eSIM]
Please perform the following settings after arriving at your destination to avoid eSIM failure due to pre-activation of a data plan in other covered countries/regions:
1. Turn off the primary SIM card (or turn off "Mobile Data" on the primary SIM card) and turn on the eSIM network switch.
2. Enable the eSIM:
iOS: Select and enable the eSIM in "Cellular/Mobile Data".
Android: Enable the eSIM in "SIM Card Manager/SIM Card" and assign "Mobile Data" to this eSIM.
3. Enable "Data Roaming".
4. If you still cannot access the internet after the above settings, please configure the APN and restart your phone. See the instructions below for details.

[About APN]
1. If you purchased an eSIM covering multiple countries/regions, and you cannot connect to the internet after arriving in a new region, please manually switch the APN (it will normally switch automatically).
2. Setting path:
iOS: "Settings" > "Cellular" > "Cellular Data Network"
Android: "Settings" > "Mobile Network/Cellular Network" > "Access Point Names (APN)"
3. Enter APN: cmhk
4. Restart your phone.

[About How to Renew Your Plan]
After your current plan expires, the renewal plan will be automatically activated. Please do not scan the QR code again.
1. For "High-speed first, then low-speed" plans: Low-speed data will continue to be used until the original plan expires. Restart your phone to start using the renewed plan. (If you need to terminate early, please contact customer service.)
2. For "High-speed data only (while supplies last)" plans: After the high-speed data is used up, restart your phone to start using the renewed plan.
To use your eSIM on other devices, please select "Book Again" instead of "Renew". Renewed plans cannot be transferred to other devices.
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 00:00, 1 day(s) prior to the expiration date, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 00:00 1 day(s) before the expiration date, a fee of 100% will be charged.
This product cannot be canceled after activation.

Partial refund is not available.
Important note

[eSIM Usage Conditions]

1. Device supports eSIM functionality

Check method: On the phone dialer interface, dial *#06#. Generally, having an EID indicates support for eSIM. If there is no EID, eSIM cannot be used.

2. Phone is not carrier-locked

Check method: Confirm with your carrier whether your device is carrier-locked.

*Please check if the above conditions are met before purchasing. eSIM can only function properly if all conditions are satisfied.

[Setting Up eSIM]

eSIM can only be installed under a stable network connection. Therefore, please plan the eSIM installation time reasonably according to the plan validity period before departure (it is recommended to install it within 6 hours before departure). Avoid installing too early, which may cause the plan to expire prematurely and affect usage.

[Enable Data Roaming]

Please ensure the "Data Roaming" option for the eSIM is enabled.

[Maintaining Fair Internet Usage Principles]

To maintain internet connection quality and uphold the Fair Usage Policy (FUP), telecom companies worldwide may sometimes impose data restrictions on customers who use a large amount of internet data within a short period. This may lead to internet access failure or slower speeds. To ensure your normal internet connection, please try to avoid prolonged video watching/downloading, software updates, sharing your internet connection with others (hotspot), or other data-intensive usage behaviors.
