It is a must to take the cruise if you are covering both Guilin and Yangshuo. The view was so unreal. The service from the pick up driver was great. On the cruise, there were detailed explanation by the attendant on the great photo taking spots what to take note off. Food was okay, its limited portion buffet. You may add on other ala cart food if you want. I took the pick up from hotel and the 4 stars cruise ticket as I am travelling solo. With the experience, I would suggest to buy only the cruise ticket and arrange for own transport (it’s very easy with didi). The 4 stars cruise ticket only cost CNY 360, while I paid for S$101 for the whole package. Overall, it was a great experience and not to be missed!

This tour was the best! Our guide, Jacky, was very attentive to our family. He told us a lot about the sights and showed us interesting places. Jacky is very funny and gets along great with children. I highly recommend him as a guide. Thanks to him, our trip to Guilin was great.

This was a GREAT tour! Prompt pick-up, knowledgeable and friendly driver, perfect balance of touristy and off-the-beaten-track activities, wonderful lunch spot, and useful advice about the benefits of a smaller raft. It was also a very handy way to get from Guilin to Yangshuo where we left the tour. Highly recommended!

we had a pruvate tour. We had a great day, our driver Mr Li (李志) was exeptional. He explained all about the history and culture of the ethnic groups. the restaurant staff were friendly and the food was excellent. Due to it being the winter season, there was not many things open but enough to feel the atmosphere of the local people.

The tour guide / driver made the whole experience worth it! The sceneries were gorgeous, and the place we stopped at for a quick restaurant/lunch break, their beer fish was absolutely delicious!

I booked a tour of the Longzi Rice Terraces. They contacted me via WeChat a day before to confirm. The tour itself is by minibus, with a stop for lunch and a restroom. First, they show you the Yao village, where a traditional Chinese concert is held. The concert is not included in the price; it's an optional extra, so you can transfer money to the driver if you wish. Then there's lunch. Lunch itself is not included. You're taken to a rather expensive restaurant. Afterwards, we transfer to the cable car and ascend to the rice terrace, where you can explore it on your own for 1.5 hours. The program is fully implemented, and all the scheduled sites were shown. The only downside is probably the price – this tour is generally cheaper at local agencies. The driver only speaks Chinese, so communication is via translators and WeChat. I should say he even tells you a little about the locations. Be sure to check the weather forecast; the terraces are windy and rainy in winter.


