Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

Meet your guide at the lobby of your hotel in Lijiang city centre and enjoy a scenic 45 minute drive to the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The main peak of this mountain is measured at 17,000 feet above sea level mimicking a gigantic dragon clad in white snow all year round. You will ride a Yak Meadow cable car (or Spruce Meadow cable car) up this legendary-shrouded mountain for stunning views of its glacier and peaks.

Yak Meadow :Which got its name because the local people like to pasture their Yak here. You will walk around following a wooden path along the meadow to enjoy the peaceful and beautiful environment.

Spruce Meadow :Is a vast meadow nestled amidst pristine fir forests, with scenery that varies throughout the seasons. During spring and summer, the meadow resembles a jade-green emerald, exuding a fresh aroma; in autumn, the meadow gradually takes on hues of gold, resembling a golden oil painting; and in winter, pure white snow blankets the fir trees and grassland, imparting a serene and holy atmosphere, akin to a dreamlike fairyland.

Blue Moon Valley

Then you will go down with the cable car and visit the Blue Moon Valley, where water terraces form from the melting snow and depending on the season, can be naturally white or turquoise-blue.

Shuhe Ancient Town

After the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, enjoy a traditional Chinese cuisine lunch before continuing the trip to Shuhe Ancient Town. This traditional Naxi ethnic village is famous for its folk customs, historical monuments and multicultural landscape. The village is surrounded by a murmuring river and interlaced with smooth flagging, making it a relaxed and less crowded version of Lijiang. After this tour, you guide will drop you off at your hotel in Lijiang city centre.

Warm reminder: Due to the limited availability of Yulong Snow Mountain cable car tickets, we are unable to specify which cable car you will take. To ensure a smooth journey for you, we will endeavor to book the available uphill cable car with remaining tickets. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Tips:

I. About Departure Time:

The standard departure time is about 8:00 AM daily, and your private tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. As a customized itinerary, both departure and touring times are flexible. After placing your order, you can negotiate with customer service to adjust to a more suitable departure time. During holidays, it is recommended to depart earlier to avoid peak crowds.

II. About End Time:

The itinerary usually ends and arrives back at the hotel around 4:00 PM. The actual return time will be flexibly adjusted based on the departure time and the progress of the tour, with an overall service duration of 8-9 hours.

III. About Pick-up and Drop-off Areas:

We offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off services within the city area (within the downtown area of Lijiang). If the service exceeds this area, additional fees will be involved, and the specific amount will be confirmed with you by customer service after order confirmation.
