We made a last minute booking during Chinese New Year holidays. Aether Tours contacted us immediately on WeChat to arrange for the driver to pick us the next day at our hotel. The vehicle is clean and comfortable and the driver is also very kind and helpful. The staff check in with us regularly throughout the day to make sure that we are fine. Kudos to the entire team for helping us have a wonderful experience.

This was not only a cooking class, but also a deep dive into Chinese, and more so, Sichuan culture, and cuisine. Jerry, our guide, was the most exquisite, professional, funny, and easygoing person, on a professional, and human level. He explained everything in detail, about the culture, cuisine, spices, teas, and more. He wand far and beyond. I cannot recommend this workshop enough. I’m a cook, and I mostly cook Asian cuisine, and this class gave me even more insights into the culture, and various preparations. Thank you Jerry for answering my (many) questions, and for making this day memorable. The highlight of my trip!

There was only a little face-changing and no tea ceremony, so it wasn't the Sichuan opera I had imagined, but there were many elements of the Three Kingdoms period and no dialogue, so I was able to enjoy it even without understanding Chinese. The food was good, and with dessert, it was substantial enough to be considered a full course meal. Perhaps the best approach is to enjoy Sichuan opera while having tea elsewhere, and then enjoy a meal and the Three Kingdoms show here.

The trip was very nice and there was a lot of things to see. The driver is very friendly and tries his best to help everyone! It was a very long day, but definitely worth it 💯
