Reviews: Full-Day Mutianyu Great Wall Bus Tour with 5 Hours at the Site (ENG/ESP/RUS Guided Bus)
Guest User2026-01-20
Our snowy trip to the Mutianyu Great Wall was absolutely magical. Seeing the Great Wall blanketed in white snow was a breathtaking wow moment—I completely fell in love. The bus arrived on time, and our tour guide Amelia explained everything clearly on the way, which made us feel prepared and at ease. She also explained the different routes on the wall and gave us the option to choose, which we really appreciated. The countryside buffet included with our ticket was delicious and comforting—something I would happily choose over Burger King or Subway. We also loved the optional Great Wall certificate as a meaningful keepsake. The cable car ride going up was a bit scary, but the ride down was smooth and enjoyable. We’re very glad we chose Mutianyu over Badaling. There was a small misunderstanding about an earlier bus departure, but the lady organizer handled it kindly and professionally, personally apologizing and making sure everything went smoothly. The experience was surreal!

Reviews: Mutianyu Great Wall Round-trip by ZANBUS with Tickets, Daily Departure 8/9/10 AM

It was an amazing experience, so organized and we left on time. Divina was the best, she contacted me the day before the trip, she always responded to my messages promptly. I was traveling solo so she recommended the perfect route for me, she even helped me when I was lost up there. Will definitely book again with you in October if I visit again as she recommended the view will be amazing! Even after we returned, she helped me find the metro station and helped me get the ticket. XiĂšxie Ni Divina ♄!

Reviews: Chartered car tour of Mutianyu Great Wall, including entrance fee and shuttle bus, one car per family, pick-up and drop-off within the Fifth Ring Road.
Guest User2025-09-30
The driver contacted us a day in advance to discuss our itinerary for the next day. He was courteous and considerate, waiting for us downstairs at the hotel. The hour-and-a-half journey to the Great Wall was filled with extensive historical knowledge. He carefully considered our needs for rest and naps, and provided appropriate introductions to the surrounding scenic spots. He was warm, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and extremely courteous, showing a strong sense of place. We were feeling a bit tired on our way back to the city after Mutianyu and were planning to return directly to the hotel. However, the driver, taking into account our rest, realized we hadn't reserved tickets for the Forbidden City. To ensure our family of three didn't miss out, he thoughtfully recommended that we take advantage of the 30th, before the crowds reached us. While we could have ended our trip in the city, we were able to visit Jingshan Park with a 2-yuan ticket to see the Forbidden City and enjoy a panoramic view of Beijing at night, despite over an hour of traffic. Jingshan Park was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Thank you, driver! A true treasure!

Reviews: Beijing 1-Day Tour: Mutianyu Great Wall + Summer Palace (Including Transfers/English-Speaking Driver/Bird's Nest and Water Cube)
Guest User2026-02-01
I had a really great time watching the sunset at the Great Wall! I was so lucky!! I saw the Great Wall's "Meow Guard" (a nickname for the Great Wall's security team) along the way! It was breathtaking; its grandeur and vastness were truly before my eyes!!! I hiked the western route (14-20) at Mutianyu. My goal was straight for the Hero's Monument!! I regretted not trying the toboggan run after taking the cable car up and down
Personally, I thought this route was relatively gentle, perfect for children and the elderly! It's just that I didn't have enough time, otherwise I would have also hiked the eastern route (6-1)!!! After all, I was saying: This outfit was for setting a new daily step count! đŸ’Ș Kolon Obli-k windbreaker and Kolon Cross-World hiking shoes. These Cross-World hiking shoes are absolutely gorgeous! They're both stylish and high-performing!!! Designed specifically for Asian foot shapes, these shoes require absolutely no break-in period. The inner lining features a Gore-Tex waterproof sock liner, providing both waterproof and breathable protection, ensuring you're completely safe even in the rain. The Vibram outsole offers exceptional grip; I love the supportive feel! And the shoes are incredibly comfortable! Having climbed the Great Wall and fulfilled my duty as a hero, may we, having traversed mountains and rivers, still find life worthwhile.

Reviews: Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall + Summer Palace English Guided 1-Day Tour (Including Great Wall Admission Ticket and English Guide)
Guest User2025-11-22
The tour was well organized, and the timing was perfect. We arrived at the Great Wall of China early in the morning, and there weren't many people there. Later, many independent travelers arrived, and a huge line formed, making it difficult to take photos. It was best to hurry before the crowds cleared up. The guide (Jackie Chan) had a great sense of humor, created a warm atmosphere, answered questions, and patiently repeated things if we didn't understand the first time. We were left with only positive emotions. Thank you for a wonderful, action-packed day.
