Overall, it was a great experience. The itinerary was well-planned, and the day was very fulfilling. The Terracotta Army is definitely worth seeing, and I would definitely come back to Xi'an again if I have the chance.

Xi’an is such an interesting city and Sally did an amazing job at bringing its history and culture to life. The Terracotta Army is one of the most incredible things we’ve ever seen. We could not have had a better time and we loved spending the day with Sally. Would 100% recommend this tour

Reviews: Xian Morning Market Tuktuk-Tour: With a pro guide,Meander in local Lively Morning Markets
Guest User2026-06-20
We had a wonderful food tour in Xi'an with Lost Plate and our guide, Diehl. The tour began smoothly thanks to the clear instructions from the vendor. The photo of the meeting point at the Xihuamen Fire Station was especially helpful and made it very easy for us to find our guide. Diehl greeted us warmly and spoke impeccable English. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing Xi'an's food culture. Throughout the tour, she explained the history and ingredients of the dishes we tasted, which helped us better appreciate the local food and traditions. The eateries she brought us to were excellent, and it was clear that the owners knew and respected her, creating a welcoming atmosphere everywhere we went. My favourite dishes were the Chinese pancake, the Longevity Soup, and the dumplings with their unique vinegar-based soup. Every stop offered something memorable and delicious. One gesture that particularly touched us was when we asked about a local fruit we had seen.
