This trip to Huangshan was truly a wonderful surprise! The scenery was breathtaking, the air was fresh, and the uniquely shaped rocks and ancient pines under the bright sunshine looked like a fairyland. The entire itinerary was very well planned; not only was we upgraded to a small group tour for free, but our guide, Xiao Wang, was also incredibly warm and attentive, patiently explaining everything along the way and taking so many photos of the children, who were overjoyed. This trip not only allowed us to appreciate the stunning natural beauty of Huangshan but also allowed us to experience the warmth, simplicity, thoughtfulness, and patience of our guide, Xiao Wang. This trip has left us with wonderful memories, and we must give it a thumbs up! 👍👍👍

There were language issues, but the scenery alone was enough. We had planned to stay overnight on the mountain, contrary to our original schedule, and the guide booked everything for us—hotel check-in, the return cable car, and the bus tickets—and even explained the route clearly. They also took great photos for us and sent them to us. It was a safe and enjoyable time.

We visited in November on a weekday. Lesser crowd and the weather was perfect, sunny between 10°C & 15°C. Our tour came with a guide who got us the tickets and planned the hiking routes, covering every "tourist-must-see" parts of the mountain. The buffet lunch recommended by the guide at ¥98/pax up on the mountains is a really good deal too. Huangshan is NO JOKE. The 8km up and down the steps lasted for almost 6 hours, excluding the one-way 20mins shuttle bus ride & one-way 10mins cable car ride. At the end of the tour our legs were not cooperative anymore. Besides the breathtaking views, it was also heartbreaking to see elderly potters carrying approximately 180 catties (about 108kg!) of goods up and down the mountains. They are literally breaking their backs 😭! Some even stopped and asked passers-by for water / food. Would forming a bucket brigade or a human chain be workable?

I joined Package A, a small group tour of 14 people, with a well-paced itinerary. The day trip included visits to Huizhou Ancient City, Xixinan, and Chengkan, showcasing the best of both day and night, with the evenings being particularly exciting. The morning was spent leisurely exploring the ancient city, and after lunch, while the other group members finished their tour and left, I unexpectedly enjoyed VIP treatment with a one-on-one guide and car. Special praise to our guide, Mr. Li, and the driver for their attentiveness and responsibility throughout the trip; we successfully visited all the attractions, making for a fantastic experience! 👍 We met a wonderful guide, Mr. Li, who was knowledgeable about the ancient villages and culture of Huizhou and provided engaging and detailed explanations. Even after the other group members left, he continued to accompany us one-on-one, showing thoughtfulness and care. I thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and culture of Huizhou, and I am grateful to Mr. Li for his meticulous arrangements.
