Highlights
The Empress Wu's grand banquet creates a circular immersive theater, with a giant screen surrounding the space to recreate the splendor of the Wu Zhou era. Traditional Chinese music and dances are performed during the feast, with actors dressed in magnificent Tang costumes. The lighting shifts with each performance, seamlessly blending dining and entertainment. Guests savor exquisite delicacies while admiring ancient dances, immersing themselves in a millennium-old Chang'an palace gathering.
The banquet draws inspiration from the imperial cuisine of Wu Zhou, with dishes bearing classically elegant names. The package includes a complete set from appetizers, soups, and main courses to desserts, tea, and wine, served on antique-style imperial tableware. Each dish balances flavor and presentation, recreating the delicacies of the high Tang court to deliver a dual feast for both the palate and the eyes.
The banquet features a complete set of Tang-style ceremonial services. The venue has a Hanfu dressing area, where Tang-attired attendants welcome guests with lanterns and guide them, serving tea and wine during the meal to recreate imperial hospitality rituals. The space is filled with Chang'an-themed photo backdrops, creating an immersive atmosphere from entry to dining—a one-stop experience of the refined ceremonial grandeur of Tang imperial hospitality.
