Reviews: Luxor - Full-day guided trip from Hurghada with Lunch by bus
Guest User2026-10-28
An incredible excursion through history. In one day, we visited the Karnak Temple, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Valley of the Kings, and our group also purchased the optional Nile cruise. The bus was air-conditioned and picked us up from Hurghada at the appointed time. I'd like to especially commend the professionalism of our wonderful guide, Tabur Amir, who explained the chronology of the pharaohs in clear language (and yes, his Russian is impeccable, so thank you very much for that). He also provided an engaging introduction to each site, sometimes humorous, sometimes with concrete facts and figures. He also answered all my questions via messages the day before the excursion. The lunch was quite good, and the mangoes on the island were incredible. Luxor will forever remain in my memory. Walk in the open air, among all those columns (cover your head, the sun is hot) or descend into the tombs (be prepared, it's really stuffy, you start sweating right away, like in a sauna, bring water). Visiting such significant places, thank you.

Reviews: Minil Group to Luxor Valley of the Kings from Hurghada
Guest User2026-10-05
An excellent tour of Luxor: the itinerary is packed, but not rushed. The program includes: Luxor Temple, a stop at the Colossi of Memnon, a Nile cruise, Banana Island with animal feeding (additional fee), lunch, tombs, and the Temple of Hatshepsut. The Russian-speaking guide is a big plus: he's positive, engaging, and provides engaging information while genuinely caring about tourists—he warned us not to interact with pushy locals to avoid being ripped off. The group was small (8 people), all Russian-speaking—the guide was able to give everyone his full attention. The transportation was comfortable: an air-conditioned bus, drinks included in the price of our tour, and we even got a croissant as a snack 😁

Reviews: Aswan to Luxor Nile Cruise

First, be aware that tour companies don't contact you until the last minute. As a result, I had to cancel the tour I booked through Viator at the last minute and rebook through Trip.com. Regarding the items requiring payment on-site, the information listed on the website differed from what the tour company told me when I got there. Thanks to persistent negotiation and evidence, I was able to get the payment waived, but it's important to save the link and take screenshots. Other participants also had various issues, but the places we visited were amazing. It's important to consider these issues as a valuable part of traveling to Egypt and allow yourself time to enjoy the experience. If you can't afford it, I recommend a tour with a tour guide rather than a local tour. This tour involved meeting the guide at each ruin.

Reviews: JR Pass east Japan rail pass | Ride designated Shinkansen (ticket redemption)
Guest User2026-09-30
The East Japan 10-Day Pass covers a wide area. From Tokyo to Aomori, the Shinkansen takes three to four hours, a long distance. Then, I traveled through Sendai, Matsushima, Fukushima, Omiya, Karuizawa, and Kawagoe Ichiban-gai. From Tokyo to the airport, it's very cost-effective. The JR buses in Aomori provide good connections between attractions, so I basically didn't need to buy additional bus tickets during my trip. Recommended.

More magnificent than the pyramids, and with a large number of people.

It was a great experience. I managed to snag a buy-one-get-one-free ticket for Trip.com's Hong Kong leg, which averaged out to just HK$50 per trip, cheaper than any other option. It only took 24 minutes to get from Central to the airport, super fast! The experience was excellent. I'll definitely keep an eye out for these flash sales in the future and recommend it to my friends!
